The company was founded in 1886 as a weekly newspaper in New York City. In 1935, the first annual edition of SCHOOL GUIDE was printed for students in the New York area who were interested in pursuing postsecondary education. Now in its 75th year of publication, School Guide continues to serve the high school community as a comprehensive resource of colleges and schools. Additional publications include Graduate School Guide, College Transfer Guide, College Conference Manual, and Veterans Education Guide.
